Change to commission structures for students undertaking a second course at UWA
Our unique course structure encourages students to enrol in two different courses during their time at the university, with each undergraduate bachelor’s course leading to numerous qualifications via our postgraduate courses.
Previously, agents were only entitled to the commission on the first course. We recognise that your relationship with your students may continue during their bachelor level studies at UWA and that you may counsel them towards a postgraduate course at university. Moving forward, we will pay a commission for all postgraduate or additional courses undertaken by the student continuing from another UWA course, provided you can demonstrate your service in assisting with the application process. This includes packaged courses.
For those of you who maintain contact with your students and discuss postgraduate studies with them towards the end of their undergraduate degree, we hope that this strengthens the choice to remain at UWA for further study. Eligibility to claim the commission for the second course occurs after the first census date of the second course or as per your contract with UWA. This new arrangement comes into effect from Semester 2, 2017. Retrospective claims will not be considered.
